Urbano Due, companion building to Uno and second half of the final whole, is now available.
An industrial past meets an urban future.
If you could have known 13 years ago what East Perth would be today you could add the tag ‘visionary’ to your name.
Thirteen years ago the light-industrial zone of East Perth was visited by few but those who sought mechanical repairs for a car or parking for a cricket match at the WACA. Devoid of trees, there was little life in the place, the sort of landscape that on a blistering summer day felt 10 degrees hotter and the bitumen seemed to be melting.
That it was waterfront real estate was largely forgotten.
Time-lapse photography of East Perth over the last 13 years would reveal a stunning transition. A rapid rise of architect designed homes interspersed with established public spaces and parklands, a community thriving and supported by carefully planned infrastructure, a precinct capable of a glamorous night display after a cool, leafy daytime.
The rapid growth of the East Perth precinct is proof enough of its success as a major urban renewal project and investment in its initial phase took a much greater leap of faith than it does today.
Enter Urbano Uno. Right time. Right place.
While the plane trees cast more shade each year and the surrounds settle into a place of affluent establishment, life at the Urbano apartments has much to offer. Transport and shopping will always be at your doorstep, meaning the most difficult decision you’ll have to make is deciding where to eat and which café makes coffee just the way you like it.
